Marché La Void (MLV), a band based in Jakarta, Indonesia, was started in

2003 by 3 long-time friends: Irwan, Wahyu, and Suryaputra. Hendra was the
next member to join the band, followed by Gerrid and Dave. Later Hendra
was replaced by Febri.

Since the day the band was founded, MLV has been writing and performing
their own songs. Many great artists influence the band in writing their
music, which they described as down-tempo, psychedelic, and ambient. Some
influences are more obvious than others, but all are influential
nonetheless.

In April 2007, Marché La Void released its first EP, entitled Cacophonia.
The 4 song EP was produced and distributed independently. As times goes
by MLV has been rearangging music style and focussing on their instrument
skill hence digging their main roots in instrumental / experimental /
post-rock genre.

As a band, they feel the need to explore our instruments more as an
individual force that driven our music to some sort of journey and
emotional landscape without the use of vocal.

Themilo formed in 1996 as a secondary band project of Ajie Gergaji while he was playing as guitarist in Cherry Bombshell together with Coro (ex-member of Cherry Bombshell), Upik and Uti (La Luna’s guitarist). Ajie decided to quit the band and focused on Themilo as his main project. The group made some lineup changes as Coro and Uti was replaced by new personnel, Themilo is now consisted of Ajie Gergaji, Upik, Suki (ex-member of Dua Sejoli), Budi Cilsen (ex-Frozen Head), and Hendi Unyil (ex-New Market) for most of the band’s recording career until today.

As one of many indie label’s band exist in Indonesia, Themilo is trying to establish music creativity upon its limitation. The boundaries itself doesn’t stop them to deliver new ideas in bringing their music. Satisfaction is the last thing they want to achieve because of its temporal nature and could become barricade to their creativity.
Themilo forever will be a process without boundaries, unstoppable contemplation, and dialectic without an end.

Last but not least, Themilo will remain exist and processing until time stops them from being creative…

"Photograph" is the 2nd album of the Milo. The long awaited album is finally released after 6 years pending.

Newbie Panic Syndrome is experimental post-rock music project created by Rory Stevie Paliama aka rayculz from Banyuwangi, Indonesia. The project start in 2007.

After a long hiatus, in 2009 rayculz released the first single ” Last Second Before Sunrise ” for upcoming debute EP entitled ” eternal dawn “. But the project has many trouble, stop and become hiatus again after release second single for the upcoming debute ep entitled “She’s Walking Into The Car, And Leaving The Damn Stormy Night Through The Dawn With Desperate Gloomy Heart “.

Meanwhile in 2010, while doing the freestyle improvisation music called telingaberdarah. He finished the new single entitled ” Gugur Bunga ” for Indonesian Independence compilation. Later, that single is for upcoming debute album entitled ” Untukmu Indonesiaku “.

Early of 2011, he released new single album entitled Welcome Home featuring telingaberdarah.

A wonderful emotive album. Both delicate and powerful. Hints of Slowdive and Sigur Ros - which can't be a bad thing. More fantastic shoegaze influenced music from Indonesia.

Ever try to find the right lullaby? Why don’t you just try these songs from Korine Conception. Founded in Medan, North Sumatra September 2003 from the ashes of the bands such as The Wardoyo (Dandy Angga), Kolam Renang (Boby) and two other players (Citra and Opin). They also got help from Fandhy (at this time he stil the additional player). Because of the same musical direction they choose to formed a band that could play dreamy and powerful music.

From the influences of Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, Malory, My Bloody Valentine and Sigur Ros they made their first song called Like A Ghost. Along the way the band lost their member Citra and Fandhy, he joined 70’s Pop. The band did not make any progress for months because they didn’t find the right drummer to fill the position. After their both return to Medan, they join Korine Conception again and until now the member still have not change. The band did not have a lot of chance to perform in Medan Scene because of the music may sound weird for the casual ears in Medan.

Thank God, they found Huria! Records to support them. They gave their songs called “The Moon With The Melody” and this song appear in compilation “Let’s Push Things Forward” by Huria! Records and released in February 2006. This was their first single, amazingly this song got a lot of airplay in local radio. In May 2007 they song “ Like A Ghost’” made it in Traxound2 (A compilation from Trax magazine), so their song could hear in whole country (Indonesia) because this magazine sold nationally.

Folkaholic was formed in 2009 as an experimental music project from Harriz Jati (mic.o.wave) and Pratomo (As We Are). Folkaholic is a music composition that combines kinds of music genre. They always try to develop their sounds to be more comfortable for those who are listening to Folkaholic songs and to help people rest their minds by hearing Folkaholic songs.

Folkaholic is trying to make some music that definitely describes what message they want to deliver. Each of their songs describes what they feel when they were making those songs. They will always try to make songs that are easy listening and honest.

Elemental Gaze is an electronica/ambient/shoegaze music group formed by Fuad Abdulgani and M.Myrdal right at the end of 2002 in Bandung/Indonesia. Inspired by musician in the early 80s and 90s such as My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, Blur, Brian Eno, Robin Guthrie, Ulrich Schnauss and M83. Elemental Gaze make stunning pop combined with atmospheric guitar and soundscapes. The name Elemental Gaze was picked from Robin Guthrie’s song titled “Elemental”.

The very first public performance of the band was July 21, 2005. At the time Elemental Gaze played small gigs at TRL (Traffic Light Bar). Afterwards, they often filled the local event at SMA 2 Bandung, Till finally, February 28, 2006 they played at Park Life with Everybody Loves Irene & Space Astronouts. After that event, Elemental Gaze had become progressively known by other Bands. And suprisingly received positive features & reviews from a lot of Indie magazines like Ripple Magazine, Juice Magazine, Bystanders, Jeune Magazine and Junk Magazine (Malaysia). With the different concepts from the other bands, electronic sounds and shoegaze guitarwalls met with the astounding Video Performance in each song, they became noticed by an electronic musician from UK, who said “This Is unique musical characters of the band and his performances “

In 2006, M.Myrdal set mind on the exit from Elemental Gaze. Later, Elemental Gaze’s live performance mean while was supported with an additional player by Bilfian Sugiana (Programmer&Synth),Lutfi Kurniadi (Guitar&Keyboard)& Also Fuad Abdulgani (Keyboard&Producer) then evolves as a solid line of the band. In 2007, Elemental Gaze continued to explore their musical direction which already heard on earlier Elemental Gaze EP Album “We Cannot Create Ourselves For Someone We Love” (2006), and began writing and recording. They just finished the recording, and plan to release their new EP Album world-wide, in 2008.

Hello.

This is just a little intermezzo.

I want to introduce my friend Post-Rock band. The name of the band is Marché La Void. They're from Jakarta, Indonesia. They've already released 1 EP called Cacophonia. Sorry no download link :) Maybe later *lol*
